Olivier at 80

In celebration of Sir Laurence Olivier’s 80th birthday the National Portrait Gallery commissioned MORRISON to photograph Olivier and his family. MORRISON has written ‘He was frail and often fell asleep, however was gracious enough to allow the session to continue. During the two hour session he taught me that all individuals need direction in front of  the camera. His words were ‘direct me dear boy, direct me’
